Since my head injury, many have told me I seem much less angry and have far less rage in my writing. The truth is, I feel as if brain-damage has worked in my favor, as it seems I can't tap-into that rage-filled region of my brain like I did before.

Do I suggest we all have a head-banger's ball, hoping it would rid the world of infuriating rage? Not at all, that would be stupid. I wouldn't wish that traveling road to speech-recovery on anybody -- it ain't fun or pretty.... trust me!

I love reading the latest celebrity-circuit on adoption. After all, American stars sure make it look like a great dream-come-truewell, for so many without money, don't they?

Well, it seems the next phase of baby-selling promotion is going to be showing the world how adoption can save the lives of those who are about to lose 'everything". How?

March 24 Star magazine has a three-page spread on Patrick Swayze and wife's plan to adopt a child, claiming "it could provide a loving dose of medicine as he bravely battles deadly cancer."

One of my most favorite perks to being a stay-at-home with my little ones was the television I would watch with them. I was "socially allowed" flash-back to my Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers days again, and not feel as though I was a complete retard moron for getting excited at certain parts of a show I knew I really liked.

It's one-thing to look stupid and fun in front of your kids, it's another to look like a deranged lunatic among strangers.

I love looking at baby pictures, and family pictures, especially those that come from families that are real and biologically related. There's something fascinating to me to see common facial features and "who has what nose and what eyes and what where".

Being adopted, yet "matched perfectly", I was told I was the spitting image of my adoptive mother.

No. I am not. I have a very different bone structure, (one that has been surgically changed when I was sixteen); and one that is more Ukrainian than Irish in nature.

When I was little, my mother poured liquid soap in my mouth for using the word "pee" to describe my need to go to the bathroom. Never again did I use that term. Since then, I have been facinated by what can and cannot go in a child's mouth from the kitchen.

Baker's chocolate, for instance, is a great cruel teasing tool for punishment, as a child can expect one taste, but get something totally unexpected, in return.

Lard was another visual that looked white and yummy, but in reality was nothing but pure greasy fat in a big vat.
