I read an article about a new-age pot demonstration, and I had to laugh at the code-word given to it: "420". The first thing that same to my mind was the phrase: "They'll deep 6 the 420 in no time". After all, pot can easily be confiscated and destroyed, eliminating the pesky drug problem for today's youthful population, right?

I had to laugh at today's review of webicles (articles found through the www).
The following was funded by SOMEONE, so it must have been important. [Please pay attention, as this is the latest from our pioneers in scientific study....]
Loneliness sucks

I first learned about Phantom Limb Pain [ http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/phantom-pain/DS00444 ] in Nursing School. It's one thing to read about it in a text-book; it's another thing to walk into a room and see a person screaming about the pain in a leg that was no longer there due to an accident or surgical procedure. "Scary" is an understatement.

We all have mental images of what good and evil looks like; more than likely those images have color associations that go with them as well. For instance, evil for me is not necessarily in the image of this devil-creature that's red and carries a strange looking pitch-fork.

Ask the average person, "What do you know about adoption?" and more than likely, the response will reflect a sentiment that shows a superficial knowledge about child-placement, and the business that goes behind selling children to other families in our society. There are laws based on contracts, and deals made during times of duress, yet profit and parenting is being sold to the highest bidders, and children are the ones being handled like cargo, trafficked to whatever place comes next.

Bruce Springsteen sings a song about "the ties that bind". He has two versions, actually. One from his River album and one recorded earlier. Of all the songs Bruce has written, do you think he would have forgotten which one was written first?

When I first started my "Search", I started where any novice would: Adoption.Com. It seemed like the natural choice. Adoption. Communication. Information. Open to the public. I'm there.
I learned, quickly, I wasn't at all entirely on board with the broad message that organization of lawyers and agencies propagates for itself. Adoption.com is a con-game, selling adoption as THE best plan for all parents seeking the best choice for children.

everyone loves the trial sample
(who doesnt enjoy a free example?)
people will stand in line to see what can be tasted and tried
this is especially true if it's free from "one of our best-buys"
(come see what's inside)
when is anything ever really "completely free"?
when someone provides it first;
(it's being offered and extended on crackers, with cheese!)
show through demonstrations.
offer an example
provide plenty of options

A child of the swinging 60s’
a mother all alone,
no one to offer any help
and a father marked unknown.
However, could she keep her child?
When all around screamed shame,
society frowned upon it
and along adoption came.
A problem to correct
decisions for them to make,
unfit, unwed mother
give birth for them to take.
Middle class wealthy family
the balance seems just right,
rid the shameless mother
leave her nothing left to fight.
