Who raised you?
Mon, 2007-07-02 17:53 - Kerry
Both natural parents
One natural parent (either father or mother)
Natural relative (grandparent, aunt, uncle, etc.)
Unrelated adults (foster/adoptive parents)
I was moved from person to person, place to place, so no one person raised me

If you were given the option, would you have wanted to be adopted?
Sun, 2007-07-08 06:42 - Harris H.
Absolutely!
I'm glad I was removed, I just wish better parent-replacements were found for me
I don't know enough about my birth-parents to make an educated choice
Absolutely not; I wish my parents kept me and got help if they needed it.
I was put in foster-care and never formally adopted

Should ALL adoptees be eligible for FREE genetic screening and counseling?
Fri, 2007-11-30 12:04 - Kerry
Yes, that way certain diseases and cancers will be known to be high risk factors for that person.
No, it's much too costly, and why scare people when you don't have to?
I'm not sure, but it sounds like a good option.
