Working-dogs

Kerry's picture
Given the history of child labor through adoption, as child migration and orphan trains  depict, it would be no wonder if the image of Master-Servant came to mind for the adoptee, in terms of role-definion.

In fact, how many adoptees feel as though you have to work extra hard for someone's love and affection?  How many feel like you must constantly do things to be liked and kept by another, just so you won't be rejected?  Even worse, how many adoptees work like dogs, while your partner sits, watches, and complains about the work you do?
