She turned away
When I needed her most, she turned away. When I told her I was raped, she wanted nothing to do with me, and she turned me away. Why? What did I do wrong? Maybe if I was her real daughter she would have taken care of me. That is something I will never know. All I know is this, as an adoptee, it didn't have to be like this. I could have been adopted by a family that did not have a pedophile in it.
But then, who can guarantee such a thing?
Kids, we're screwed, aren't we?
