Unique Programs

• Marriage Seminar: Annually, inmates volunteer to participate in the Marriage Seminars. Community volunteers from local churches facilitate this event that is designed to strengthen relationships and improve communication between inmates and their spouses. Beyond communication sessions, the inmates and their wives have lunch together.
• Wings Ministry: In December 2005, the Wings Ministry came to SCI to present their Christmas party and program. Over 300 offenders and their families participated in arts and crafts, family relationship strengthening session, holiday plays and singing Christmas carols. Fifty volunteers and approximately 30 staff assisted with the Wings program facilitators.
