Unique Programs
  • Release Preparation Program: Students who will be released into the community within the next 30-60 days attend classes for 3 weeks. Subjects and programs covered in this class include: positive salutations, reentry, interactive video interviewing with prospective employers, interviewing skills, applications, resumes, community employment resources, service learning workshops, goal setting, decision making, stress management and other life skills.
  • Apprenticeship Programs: The apprenticeship program, although carried out in areas besides the school, is aligned with education and receives funding for its program from the education budget. Approved LorCI apprenticeship programs include cook, baker, animal trainer and janitor.
