Denver Women's Correctional Facility

The Denver Women's Correctional Facility (DWCF) is located just south of the Denver County Jail and west of DRDC.  The facility houses 900 offenders and offers reintegration programming to female offenders to assist with re-entry into the community.

DWCF Provides a wide range of work assignments and programs in addition to being an Intake Unit and Administrative Segregation Unit for female offenders.  The programs are based on a progressive reintegration model designed to enhance the economic and social role of females upon their return to society and to assist in maintaining and strengthening family ties, especially those between a parent and child.  These programs include, but are not limited to:
