One of the hardest adoption issues I've had to deal with is the incest thing. What keeps rolling in my mind over and over is the simple fact that for the adoptee, it (sexual abuse) didn't have to be that way. I didn't have to be attacked repeatedly, had I only been adopted by another couple. How does a person come to terms with that life-detail that no one wants to discuss?
I am one person, but I know I speak for many: We were chosen to be given to sick demented people who think sex with a child is ok.

I'm told there are no statistics in child rape for the adoptee.
All I have to say is: I am one of those statistics no one wants to count or recognize.
I am mad as hell, and there's not a damn thing I can do about it, because I was raped by a family member who bought me.
