Dysfunctional families
I read so much about the term "dysfunctional families". Is there such a thing as a Functional Family... and how does a person find one of them? I wouldn't know a normal, well-adjusted family if one hit me with it's blue mini-van.
I'd like to know who does the family-choosing in adoption, because I think those people need to have THEIR heads examined! Weren't there tests or something parents had to do before being approved by an adoption agency and adopting a child? I look at my parents and wonder: how the hell did THEY slip through the cracks?!?
Maybe if there was a mortgage-payment plan for an adopted child, there would be more responsible parents raising other people's kids. That's a better perspective -- looking at the child like he or she is on loan! I bet that would eliminate a lot of freaks who want to own a baby, not another human being.
It can't be just me who feels this insane from nut-job parents, can it?

Yea but if people have the money and there are people making money off adoption, people will slip through the cracks. As long as you have private adoption agencies, nutcases with the money will be able to buy a baby. Dunno if I'm getting too political here, this is the bar afterall. Well my 2 and half cents anyway.
