The man did NOT have to let those people in....  They obviously did not have a court order and were going on allegations, which anyone and their dog could call in for whatever reason they stated.
IMO this guy had guts and the law on his side or else they would have busted that door down..They had NO evidence! 
But, in my case, it was in my own best interest to cooperate to the fullest of my ability.  I had nothing to hide.  My children were not abused.  The only thing was that my son decided to go outside naked and someone called the police.  My house was dirty at that time, but they found lots of food and my kids were spotless. 
It's seems like an agenda; a god complex that reeks from those in authority over others.  They have done NOTHING to me because I didn't do anything wrong but have a dirty house.  In the past two months these people have come to know me very well and have in turn helped my family.  There is always two ways to look at it.
If the cop saw the child and stated she looked fine... enough said.   This would document the allegations and be enough, if there were more, to get a court order.  IMO these people were pushing too hard for not enough reason or evidence.

Kerry, if he would have let them in voluntarily then they would have been able to just take that child.
