HOKENDAUQUA, Lehigh County (AP) A week of searching for a Lehigh County woman accused of shooting her husband and fleeing with her 11-year-old adopted daughter ended when the two were found dead of gunshot wounds in the woman's van at a northeastern Pennsylvania truck stop.

The bodies of Rita A. Mensinger, 57, and her adopted daughter Chelsea Mensigner were found by a trucker who noticed the blue van had been parked for several days in an unpaved lot near the entrance of a truck stop at DuPont, between Scranton and Wilkes-Barre.

Both were shot with the handgun used to wound Mensinger's husband.
