I wished there had been a "not really" option. It's not that I don't like my picture taken and most often I am curious after the result, but I always have a slight uneasiness when my picture is taken. So either I look very serious or I have a certain shyness in most photos taken.
I usually get all nervous about it, but only because i feel stupid standing by myself vulnerable . I wonder what the photographer is thinking while taking the photo. Are they laughing at me? So many thoughts go through my mind in the time it takes to snap a pic. You will never catch me standing in front of some famous landmark alone having my photo taken. My photos consist of only the actual landmark, or my husband and kids are in the photo.
If you were to give a presentation, you would know your subject and give it all you have! When it comes to staring at
the image of who you are, you are apt to be very judgmental.
IMO, Kerry does not believe what she sees: who am I really; do I look like my parents or siblings? Kerry is beautiful
and yet she can not see it. BUT, Kerry knows how to project herself when it comes to a cherished subject and in that
is where her confidence lies. I think you could do this if the other option were, to be faced with your own image in a photograph.

Given the choice...
I'd rather give a public presentation - without notes - than be photographed... THAT's how much I hate cameras, and my own image in a photograph.
What does that say about me?
