Conflict of interest

I really liked this other video:  "Social Services are NEVER Wrong" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXuVBbAEqvQ) because both videos illustrate how easy it is to confuse adoption with family preservation, one having far more value than the other.

Children are not respected.

These videos show clearly the urgent need to have the UK childcare system full reformed and this needs to start with an outright ban on Secret family courts. Parents and families views do matter, should be heard as should those of the child.

The rights of the child need to be made paramount in all cases above those of agencies and social experts and certainly above adoption quotas. In most cases adoption IS NOT THE ANSWER for a child and all to often other alternatives are not looked at.
