The pattern of Letting Go

Kerry's picture

It starts in the chest -- a tightness of sorts.  It paces the breakthing, making sure nothing deep can be done.

It moves down the belly, where it settles for a while.  Burning, churning, it lives and breeds, like the sickness it really is.

The mind realizes what's happening, and it races to catch-up to the rest of the body.  Racing chaos floods, then freezes; finally the feeling of detached calm takes over.

The chest and belly still work in burning stiffness, but it doesn't hurt anymore.

It's there as a reminder that IT exists and it has never left, even when all else is gone.
