I had to laugh at the latest list of "no-no's" at the work-place, found at msn.careerbuilder.com
I may be guilty of each one.

What if a person has no family or friends outside the office, due to a new living situation? Wouldn't this "keep to your-self" policy be just a wee-bit too cold and calculated and hard to remain happy in the work-place? I always found it more fun to work with people who shared goofy stories about themselves, showing the softer, less serious-side of themselves, simply because it's FUN, and it makes others feel good and happy, even if it's just for a few minutes.
The world is already a harsh place to live; who needs more cold aloof distance at the work-place?

Professionalism
I have probably done most of those 13 deadly sins too. It would be horrible if we would all be professional robots in the work place. There is already too much of that, much the reason why I decided not wanting to work in the Corporate World. I hate professionalism.
