I remember there was a post about winter traditions that went well beyond the popular rituals and religious meanings that so many get caught-up doing this time of year. After all, not everyone practices the same belief-system, yet as human we do come from a universal life-experience that goes through growth seasons.
http://poundpuplegacy.org/node/7864#comment-2062 gives a beautiful example how nature takes care of it's own, all without the aid of nutty professors telling mothers how to do it better. After all, the most perfect supply and demand system has been built within the pregnant woman's body. It such a shame that isn't celebrated and supported more!
