Is there higher risk with random placement?
Logic dictates, the more hands that are involved in the care of a child, the more chances that child will be exposed to invasions by and through strangers that are threatening, harmful and dangerous. Theoretically private adoption agencies promise parents that "a vigorous screening process" takes places, ensuring the safe-keeping of each child entering the private domain of it's practice, yet how can any agency make such promises when no one can guarantee how child-care will be rendered for eighteen years?
Perhaps one of the most disturbing facts about adoption is the hidden secret of incest in both the adoptive family, and natural family. Statistics are not known, because it goes against all that the industry wants to sell for itself.
What happens behind closed doors becomes a pattern of secrets, built upon lies, guilt and shame. Child placement and adoption is not the same as family preservation and child protection. Removing a child from one problem and putting him in a house where more troubles exist does not solve the problem of child abuse. It in fact, creates a situation where sexual boundaries get lost and rage becomes more of a problem than ever. This is a burden that not only is taught and exampled on an innocent child, but it gets passed from one family and generation to the next. For the child victimized by a system who's sole business is "child protection and safety" this is unacceptable, and more people need to become aware how many are not following the rules of moral decency.
people don't care
God forbid an adoptee or foster kid complains about how they are treated by their new families, you know why? They suddenly get attacked by those who claim "everyone has problems". Abuse exists everywhere, so why should adoptees be excused from it.
WHY?
Because wasn't that the reason we were fucking removed, in the first place? We're we told we were special and worth extra protection?
What's the point in being born and saved, and sold to no-good lying strangers, if the bad shit is gonna happen anyway?
people just don't care.
