discovery - then the pushers

At the time of Discovery, meaning, you learned you were pregnant, who was the first to suggest you "have an option to consider"?

My mother sent me to her priest and he was the first (out of many including her) to push adoption.

Adoption hadn't crossed my own mind at all before then.  In fact I told the person who was with me when I learned of the positive pregnancy result, that I felt ready to be a mom, to have a child, and within a week or two bought material to sew something for baby.

That was early in the pregnancy, before the dream of keeping my baby was shattered by others' dictates.   The only time he was really mine, was before others knew and weighed in.  According to them, I had no right to this child as an unwed (and unsupported) mother.
