It's Time

I've recovered from my bout with the Baby-Blues and jet-lag.  I miss my kids, and feel all out of sorts in a country where I see families riding bikes like the Von Traps everywhere.  Yes, I'm here in The Netherlands (or the Netherworld), where everything is Man-Made, because when everything is flat, and at sea level, it has to be.  I like it here... it's a strange mixture of fairy tale thatched roof cottage whimsy with modern day Ikea industrialism.

Who'd had thunk last year this time, I'd be HERE of all places?

Last year, this time, I was returning from NYC.

I had gotten word from Mary, one of PPL's first member's, she had lost her son.  Another Adoptee Suicide.

HOW MANY UNTOLD STORIES?

HOW MANY VICTIMS?

There are two sides to the Adoption Story, but only one gets told to the general public, and that's a disservice to ALL families.

People need to know how adoption is breaking children's spirits and hearts in ways that is silent and shameful and yes, deadly.

It's time an awareness be made strong, loud and clear.

It's time PPL launch it's second year.

Focus on who's family?

There's a MSN feature article about the biggest moments in Internet history.  http://tech.msn.com/products/articlepcw.aspx?cp-documentid=5586501&GT1=10540
........
From a Pound-Pup-Perspective, yes, this perked my ears.
How?  From the past, comes our very present situation where we have tell-tale signs everywhere in the media that history is repeating itself in ways families cannot afford to keep risking itself, yet it still chooses to ignore the obvious truth that money cannot buy a person's happiness.

The Internet has been a blessing and a curse for the adoptee, hasn't it?  His and her stories have been told and shared in-the-making, as each adoptee learned to become a super sleuth in self-discovery, while others saw a NEW market for the mother and child broken by adoption.  Born from new-age technology came a new marketing brain-storm called Search and Reunion: healing the wounds inflicting by those who claimed to solve a moral problem.  Why some claim authority in this process so many of us have done privately goes beyond me, but we all need to make a few bucks to survive the times, right?

Theoretically, it sounds and seems good to go back to the scene of the crime, but that's true only if anger and vindication can be freely voiced, and the tab is not placed on both Mother and Child.  Again.
People forget, if one dares to change the language of family formation, the wording must not get rearranged too much.
There is no Triad to the circle of life, there is only gimmick to those seeking profit in their own pockets.
